ISLANDS OFF ATTICA, Aegina. Circa 350-338 BC. Stater (Silver, 24 mm, 12.20 g, 4 h). Land tortoise with segmented shell. Rev. A-IΓI Incuse square divided by skew-pattern into five compartments; in lower left section, dolphin upward. Antike Kunst (1967), 461 (this coin). Dewing 1687. HGC 6, 439. Milbank pl. III, 1. SNG Lockett 2002. Beautifully toned and struck in exceptionally high relief. Minor die rust and the obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, about extremely fine.
